A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie of Arles (France), Fannie Escoulen has built a career in the service of photography, its artists and its audiences since the early 2000s. Deputy director of the BAL in Paris between 2007 and 2014, she has been an independent curator, editorial director for publishing houses and artistic advisor for companies and photography awards. Since 2021, she is the Head of the Photography Department of the French Ministry of Culture (General direction of artistic creation).
