HELENE GIANNECCHINI
Hélène Giannecchini is a writer and art theorist. She has a doctorate in literature and specializes in the relationship between text and image. She teaches contemporary art theory at the École européenne supérieure de l'Image in Poitiers. She has published at the Seuil, in the collection "La Librairie du XXIe siècle": Une Image peut-être vraie (2014) and Voir de ses propres yeux (2020). She was a resident at the Villa Medici in 2018-19, the Villa Albertine in 2022 and resident at the Centre National de la Danse in 2021-22. In June 2023 the piece Cortèges, for which she wrote the libretto, composed by Sasha J. Blondeau and performed by François Chaignaud will be performed at the Philharmonie de Paris.
