Last representative of the humanist school, incarnated by Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis, Édouard Boubat and Brassaï, Sabine Weiss holds a unique place within French photography. For close to sixty years she has explored a large variety of fields from photo reporting to portraiture, fashion and advertising while also carrying out more personal projects.
